Hi friends! Hope you are having a great day :)
For today's post, I've created a Sea Themed Mixed Media Panel-"Travel".
I've used some gorgeous Fantasy Dies & Chipboard on the project.
To color the project, I've used Lindy's Gang Sprays, modelling paste by CrafTangles & other mixed media supplies by Prima.
I've created a Step-by-Step Pictorial of the process :)
Fantasy Dies Used: "Часовой", "Шальной 2", "Рыбка 1", "Рыбка 4", "Осьминог большой", "Морской конек 2 ", "Кальмар".
Fantasy Chipboards Used: "Пиранья Наттерера 1494", "Штурвал 1507".
Step-by-Step Pictorial:
1. Apply heavy white gesso to a circular mdf panel.
2. Apply modelling paste through a stencil onto the panel (to create background interest & texture)
3. Apply color to the panel by spraying with water and adding various shades of blue sprays (or whichever colouring medium you prefer).
4. Start building the composition by adhering a few straws and circluar stamped cards to the panel. (Use 3d foam tape/ chipboard pieces between the layers to create dimension).
5. Adhere die cuts (cut using Fantasy dies & thick white cardstock ) to the panel.
6. Layer & adhere more Fantasy die cuts and Fantasy Chipboards to the panel.
7. Adhere epoxy stickers and a sentiment sticker by Tim Holtz.
8. In the end, adhere mega art stones & glitter to the panel using soft matte gel & embellish the panel with a few half pearls (I changed the final composition a little by removing 2 of the small circular pieces & changing the focal element to a boat because I liked it better.) Finally, create splatter with white acrylic ink.
